Well, it's been a while. I've been up to quite a bit.

It's the last week of lectures, and I don't have much work left, as I have done quite a bit that's due in this week already. If you have any medals, please post them on.

The essay on the gulags is going ok, but it's not a simple topic. I'm past the half way mark - I'm on 1600 words, out of 3000.

There is a mass exodus of 21 Danes Road and associates this evening. We are going to the land of milk and honey. In fact, they do other things too. Yes, Tesco. Rosie and Rebekah are driving round for 8.30. Mike doesn't even know where Tesco is, so it's going to be a real eye opener. Gavin is here this weekend, so he's coming.

Gavin and Rosie came to dinner last night. I managed to find a meal from my supplies which fed us all. Had lunch in the refectory with Gavin today. He had the chef's special from his students days - sausage beans and chips. I had burger and chips. It's not bad for £1.80.

I'm going home in around 2 weeks. Not too sure when. Going to stay on after term's ended to do some work. When I get home I'm going to do some decorating, but another job has come up. My Dad is selling his Land Rover soon, and it needs quite a bit of work doing to it to make it look half decent, and he said he'd pay me to do some of it. Would be quite an interesting job. It's mostly sanding down the paint and repainting it (with a roller) in matt green. Hopefully it won't rain too much.

Got pizza and chips in the oven, so I'd better go and check on it. I might make some changes to the blog later on, in terms of colour - I think it could do with a make-over.
