Hello again, I'm back from silence. It was a pretty good week at work, but no sign of promotion and the company Mercedes is a way off. I have been doing lots of product checking and searching for companies on a database. Next week will probably be more of the same and then the work looks set to be more varied.

Life in the bedsit is going fine. I've been getting a few things for it, including a sort of shelving unit. I assembled it when I got home on Thursday - 40 screws. Saw the landlord last night. He's a taxi driver, and as he was waiting with his chums at the station he saw the Panda drive by with me and Gavin in and pick Rosie up, and chug off making odd noises. He remembered it this morning when he came for the rent. He said "all the guys had a right chuckle at that one!

This afternoon Rosie, Rebekah and I went to good old Trago Mills, as in the Bovey Tracey one. It was pretty much as you'd expect. Rosie's planning to buy a bed there in a few weeks.

Went to the trout in at Bickleigh with Rosie this evening. Didn't have trout though, had curry.

Did I say all that at the top of your blog, or have I been grossly misquoted as result of inadequate attention to text-formatting?

I was hoping to be able to congratulate you for getting through a whole 'blog' without mentioning food, but then you had to mention curry.....!! Jill

Mark: It was my rubbish text formatting. I did put more effort in than it looks. I used a new line for your bit.

Oh I see. You know, what you want instead of

All you could want from a blog...and a little bit more.

I think you ought to tone it down a bit, you big freak - Mark Dobson 21/08/2004

What blogger usually does automatically to blog entries is replace line breaks with <br> tags for you, but in the template you just have to know.

It's very quiet on here.
Bit of a blog-gap.
