Alright? This week is rapidly dissappearing before my nose. It's Wednesday evening already.

Yesterday was a busy day. I had 5 lectures. That's more than some English students in a fortnight. In the evening I had Mark and Rosie round to dinner. I finished off my can of haggis while Mark and Rosie had some vegetarian sausage rolls. It went well.

Today one of my lectures was cancelled because the lecturer was on a train...

And next week most of the Russian department is taking part in some strike. Apparently, their wages aren't going up enough over the next few years. So I'm missing lots of lessons and it's not even my fault. By then I think I'll have missed about 10 hours this year because of lecturers, so around a full week of teaching. I think I'll ask for my money back. It's about £50 worth. I feel I should mention one lecturer who is NOT taking part in the strike - Nadia - our russian oral teacher. She says it's not fair on the students and we're more important than money. The ironic thing is, she's the least highly paid lecturer. Hopefully some of the others will join her, as I could do with all the teaching I can get.

Next week I will be able to do some personal study, however. This could prove useful.

Going out for a drink somewhere with Rosie this evening. Not sure where or when though.
