Well, bonjour, in a word. It's been a long two days. Lots of work to do. Just about to get to bed now, but I thought I'd blog to try and unwind and take my mind of it all. Once tomorrow's done, I will have more or less finished work to be handed in this week, which is always a nice feeling. I don't mind just going to lectures. Even 9am ones tooo much.

Did a mini-ish-presentation in Russian today which seemed to go ok. I was meant to do one in French too, but I'm doing that next week now instead. Tomorrow I have 3 lectures and need to do two translations which will take about 3 hours each. Quo vardis.

Looking forward to the weekend. Gavin is coming down, and on Saturday evening we might go to KFC! The hot place for romantics on Valentine's day. I'm not saying anything about the day though.

The new committee was elected at CU tonight. This is the fifth committee I've known! Starting to feel like I've been around here a while. Maybe I should move to Scotland and start again. I guess they all eat haggis up there a lot more. Although when I was last there more people ate chicken tikka masala than haggis. Maybe a combo is in order.

Taking the Panda in to get the brakes checked probably on Friday. I think someone stole them! Or maybe they just wore out. We'll try and get it done at a tyre place for free, I think lots of them do that.

Must do some ironing tomorrow too, as I'm starting to run out of clothes.
