Evening. Today was ok really. I had a nine o'clock and hadn't managed to get to sleep till late, but somehow I still managed to get up early enough to make some porridge and generally take it rock steady eddy. The Russian listening paper we did today was from back in 1997 and was way easier than the ones we've been doing recently. I would have got 80%. I think exams might be getting harder now. I also notice we have to write 5-700 words in our French essay, when it was something like 350 a few years ago. They don't make exams like they used to...
My GCHQ letter has arrived at home, and my mum has posted it down, so I shall know the result soon. Once I know, I can start to plan more what I will do next year. Like I said before, I'm pretty sure I won't get anything at GCHQ, so I'll start to look around the area here for jobs.
Decided to research the GULags for my first Soviet History essay and probably talk about them for my presentation in the oral exam in June. A nice cheery subject. I'll have to do a fair bit of research as I have to write 3000 words on it, but mercifully in english.
Rosie is coming round soon and we're probably going to watch a film if no one is using the tv.
