On Friday I went round to Rosie's about lunchtime to check her car a bit more. We took it for the same drive we did on the A38 the other day, but it didn't make and burning rubber smells, apart from at the traffic lights. Joke. Rosie came back to mine for beans on toast (I keep a supply for her) and then drove home to do more work. I walked all the way to the big tesco and had a scone, before walking all the way home in the rain. It was quite good actually.

Rosie came round again in the evening and we went out to look at mice. I'm thinking of getting a mouse you see. An optical one. They had some good deals on at PC World. But I didn't get one. The good ones were pricy.

After this I suggested we texted Mark and see what he was up to. He seemed to be not up to much and we drove round and picked him up and went to Stoke Canon for a drink. (I had a bacon sandwich too, while the two of them ate some of my half rate lettuce leaves). When we dropped Mark off at the Esso garage, a strong smell of burning rubber wafted into the cabin, but no smoke was to be seen. So the problem is alive and well. Bye for now.
