Hi guys, thanks for tuning in. Today has been, frankly, dull. I have done a few hours work on the essay. It's up to 2550 words now. I deleted quite a bit of it, and rewrote it.

Well, I say dull, but there has been one source of excitement. When I went into the bathroom this morning, the handle to flush the loo was broken (at last - it's the tackiest thing since sliced bread). So I had to flush it from inside the watertank bit. However, in the process of doing this (it's a nasty little watertank thing) I knocked the thing which tells the plumbing there's quite enough water in this toilet thank you. This resulted in water overflowing into the conservatory below, and Pete making strange noises. Luckily I managed to fix it fairly quickly. The overflow pipe is just under the roof in the conservatory, rather than just outside so it would run off down the roof. A masterpiece of design.

I have been looking at jobs. I'm thinking of doing temporary things for a month or so after the exams end, just so I can earn some money, but still have a bit of a break. I looked on a website and found lots of driving jobs, some were paying £400-£800 per week! Not bad eh (that's £20-40k p/a). However, I found my ideal job. The job title was 'Casual Driver' for Inchcape Vauxhall. All this involves is cruising around the country in a brand new Vauxhall, handing it over to its company owner, and hot footing it home on public transport. That's the kind of day I do for a laugh. I phoned them up, but the Fleet Manager was busy or something, and she hasn't phoned back. I'll try again tomorrow maybe. Don't know about the money though.

Also today, I went to campus to go through my russian oral stuff with Nadya. I need to swot up on the Stalin era, as I will have to answer questions on it unprepared in Russian. Nightmare.

I've also done a bit of French Grammar, as I keep forgetting I have the exam on Saturday morning...

Going out for a walk this evening with Rosie. She's having an exclusive meal with her housemates to celebrate Nat's birthday.
