Good afternoon. I remembered an event I forgot to blog from last week. I had a haircut on Friday. I guess most of you noticed, but some people were unsure. This time as well all the fuss about texturing and chipping into it, she insisted on rubbing in some coconut grease. I washed it out after a couple of hours as it felt rather like I had Jamaica welded to my forehead. However, the most annoying thing about the haircut, which was grade 8 incidently, is that the pricing scheme has changed. Haircuts are now from £5.50 and there was no mention of a student discount. And she charged me £6. This was because I was being unfair to all those people who get their haircut once a month, apparently. Why should I pay less in the long run just because I get my hair cut less often? It doesn't look too bad though, and it's already growing nicely.

Went to Sainsbury's with Rosie and Gill last night. I realised one of my headlights had blown, so this morning I went to Halfords to get a new one. £4.99. This country.

The good news is I have a few days work on the cards. I mentioned it a few weeks ago. It's the fences. However, it's turned into pretty much anything wooden in the garden including sort of structures with roofs and things. Starting tomorrow. And Andy Sawers who I've worked for in Cheltenham emailed asking me if I'd like to come and paint the entire outside of his house. He's got a big house. Most of it's single storey. Hopefully I'll fit that in in a few weeks.

I got my suit out of the wardrobe in plenty of time to check it's ok for the Wedding on July 3. Surprisingly enough it's just as I left it, although it does smell rather a lot of the air fresheners that someone stuck on the wardrobe doors. My one and only decent smart shirt to wear with a tie here in Exeter says it's non-iron. Well, that's a joke.

Rosie said she'd come round about 2 and we'd go somewhere like Topsham. She wants to look at charity shops outside Exeter. Casting her nets further afield. Still, if we go to Topsham there are only 2 I think.
