Hello. It's been a pretty manic few days. Rosie and I came to Cheltenham for the weekend on Thursday evening. It was a very uneventful drive here. It was good to see the new carpet in two of the bedrooms in my parents' house. Rosie was even lucky enough to sleep in the new magnolia palace with red carpet. On Friday morning I cleaned my car, and we all went out for lunch in a place called Chedworth. Worth its weight in Ched. We went into town in the afternoon. Rosie went in to look round a couple of low-budget clothes shops, but she didn't find anything she fancied apart from a doughnut. In the evening we went to see Rich and Emma and Nicholas as it was Rich's 30th birthday. He doesn't look a day over 24. He was hand painting an upturned £1000 bath in his lounge when we arrived, so we went out to a pub/restaurant with 8 month old Nicholas who has developed a penchant for playing with empty crisp packets, particularly minted lamb flavour. Obviously not going to be a veggie when he's older. Either that or he'll just eat mint.

On Saturday I washed my mum's car and in the afternoon we went to B&Q to look at tiles for the downstairs toilet, but nothing was bought. When we got back Rosie and I watched Clockwise, an 80s film with John Cleese. In the evening Rosie and I went into town for a walk round and a drink. Wetherspoons was packed so we went to Pizza Hut where it was quite quiet, but then it was 9:45pm.

On Sunday we went to church in the morning and Gran and Kathleen came to lunch. There was a lot of chatting and dog walking. And Tiramisu. Rosie didn't finish hers, so I got some extra. In the evening Rosie and I went for a walk in Charlton Kings around the old school cross country course, which unlike some schools, really is cross country, in that it involves crossing the countryside and avoiding cow pats. We went into town and went to Wetherspoons for a bit, and I had ham, eggs and chips.

Today, we got up and kind of moped around for 5 or 10 minutes, before going out to Worcester, stopping off to get some second hand wheel trims for family members. Worcester was a bit rainy, especially outdoors. We went to Druckers and about 5 clothes shops to look for a white top for Rosie to wear to Tom and Sarah's wedding in a few weeks. And now here we are, back at basecamp. Feel the bass. This evening we are having dinner, saying hello to the next group of guests and re-joining the M5 around 21:30. If you can't beat them, poach them.

Oh yeah, I got an email from Alastair, one of my lecturers, who appears to be offering me several days work being a paid slave in his back garden, doing some decking (not sure whom of yet) Hopefully some freshers. But it will be useful. And I'm sure my CV will benefit. vic has just signed in to msn - no idea who he or she is. Bye for now.

If you think minted lamb flavour crisps are comparable to minted lamb, you don't deserve to be an omnivore.

I have a feeling I would agree with you if I tried them. I have never liked crisps. They're a waste of money too. Especially those ones.
