Hello there. Well today was an early start. I left the house at 7.45 to get to John's house before he left for work himself. He showed me the various wooden things he wanted painting. These included gates, fences, sheds one of those p things (forgotten it for a minute) and a bird bath. It went well, and I got most of it done. I'm going back tomorrow to finish off. John's going to ask his neighbours if they want any fences painting. It was pretty hot in the garden and I have got a bit of a tan now.

Went to a barbecue at Anna, Louisa, Jo, Isobel and Nat's house this evening. Hadn't seen lots of them for a while. Steve who was here in my first and second year was there.

Rosie and I are planning to go to Cheltenham tomorrow evening, or possibly on Friday.

Hardly, it's more off a very light mowing. He should've gone for 5 on top, 3 on the sides. You know it makes sense.
