Met Rosie in town for a bit this morning. We went up to the top of Debenhams and looked at the view. The High Street is changing by the day. Not that you can see it very well from up there.
This afternoon I went up to campus to buy a French vocab book. I could really do with some French vocab. It started to rain, but it was ok. I walked up to where they're building the new halls. It's not exactly Duryard, but it 's ok. Just joshin'. It's much better I think, although I'd still rather live in Duryard because the thought of having to walk right up that hill on the way back from town doesn't cut any mustard. Handy for campus I guess.
I was going to do some ironing this afternoon, but my clothes are still a bit damp.
Going to Gavin's for 20.30. Mark and Rosie are going too. I hope it stops raining.
My msn hasn't been working for 3 days now, which is a shame. I tried re-installing it - no joy.
But I've got other fish to fry. I emailed the Russian lecturer yesterday asking him about our oral exam, and he replied saying it's next Friday! That's only a bit more than a week! Rosie isn't going to be amused. We'll have to spend the first week of term cramming our heads with Russian. Quo vardis!
