Today was action packed. Didn't get much sleep on Friday night, so I was allowed to stay asleep until about 10. After I got up I took Rosie for a spin in the car before we ran to the station to meet Rosie's mum Jill and her auntie Ali. We had lunch - Ali's treat. We went on the London Eye. It was a real eye opener actually. I'll always remember where I was the first time I went on the London Eye. I was amused to see that amongst the sites labelled on the guide was 'River Thames'. I couldn't puzzle out what that blue expanse toward the top of the picture was though.

Rosie and I had a second luncheon - nobody's treat - and went round the Tate Modern for 15-20 mins or so. I think the room I was in longest was the gents. After this we got the tube to Clapham Common and walked over it to see my uncle and aunts house. No point in knocking, as they are renting it out at the moment.

Met up with Rosie's parents, Ali and brother Will at Covent Garden and had food in a nice cafe. Sat outside - classic.
