Hello there, I'm pretty tired. It's been a long week with the decorating. I am well into the painting stage now. The ceilings and cornicing have had 2 coats and the walls have had the initial coat. Had to do some more filling though. It's starting to look ok. Did an 11.5 hour session yesterday (with lunchbreaks etc)

The main news is that I have a job interview at Reuters on Monday afternoon. I don't really know what the job is. All I know is I would be a "bit of a jack of all trades". This sounds good to me, and something I have experience in. It's only temporary, but then, what job isn't? Maybe she's hoping I'm going to paint the place.

I'm back in Cheltenham this evening. I've come to paint the lounge yellow. There's a huge sense of deja vu about it all. This week has been quite a good earner. At least I'll get Sunday off. Probably going back down to Exeter early Sunday morning.

I've got another huge job lined up this coming week and into the week after. It's in Exminster. It's for another guy from church. He basically wants his entire house except lounge and attic room painting, but there isn't much preparation at all, so it will be a breath of fresh air after this week, as long as I change my trainers. His wife and daughters are choosing the colours. They painted the lounge lilac, so I'll see what I'm dealing with next week.

Exminster! It's not Crablake Farm, is it? The shower could do with tiling, but I think the loo recently had a fresh coat of white paint. The orchard doesn't need decorating though - it will be changing colour soon anyway!!!! Jill

No, it's a modern house in the 10 year old estate. Most of it is currently on its original magnolia. I doubt that will be the case in a week or two.
