Hello. Lots has happened since I last blogged. I have found a bedsit and have got the key, having paid a £200 deposit and 2 weeks rent (£140). It's on old Tiverton Road, but I'm not going to do anything suicidal like put my address on the blog. I'm going to move stuff in on Saturday. It feels odd moving from a 3 bed house into a bedsit, but it makes financial sense obviously. It's going to cost about £73 a week all in including council tax, water, heating, electricity, you name it. I saw my landlord half an hour after I got the key outside the station in his taxi. He's obviously a taxi driver in the evening, landlord in the day. Nice.

I've been slaving away at Exminster. I did another bedroom today all over. I painted everything purple. Even the radiator. I was told to. Tomorrow I'm doing the kitchen. Which will be a nightmare because of all the obstacles. The Edwards very kindly paid me in advance for the whole week so I could pay my deposit etc in cash this evening. I'll be working there flat out for the rest of the week before starting Reuters next Tuesday.
