Good evening. I've been quite busy today. Didn't get up till about 10, as I was quite tired. I went to B&Q, again. Bought a new roller, as the heads on the old ones were worn out and I couldn't get them off. Went to Homebase to get some paint, as they didn't have enough at B&Q. Well, they did have some, but the tins were very dented and had white paint all over them.

Painted the landing ceiling with the extension thing. It was great, I would recommend one in every home. Maybe two if it's a big family.

Went into town this afternoon to buy a photo album to keep my year abroad photos in. Originally, I was going to get one of those ones in which you sort of laminate them behind a sticky surface, but I had a job finding one which wasn't too twee or expensive. Lots of them were a bit girly, too. In the end I bought a biggish blue one which has room for comments, or 'memos' as they call them.

Was horrified to find that it's now £2.50 to park in the Regent Arcade car park for up to 2 hours. I only parked there because it was raining. When I was queuing to pay at the ticket machine, the machine accepted the guy in front's money but didn't give him any change. So the attendant came, and I chatted to him a bit. He said the reason it was so expensive was that there was CCTV now. There's always been CCTV there. Gibbon.

Later on I gave the landing it's first coat of red paint. Incidentally, the winner was English Fire. It looks ok, considering it's only had one coat. I will try and get loads more done tomorrow. Bye for now.
