Wahey there. Today was quite a good day. In the morning, Rosie and I polished the front end of her Fiat Panda until it became shiny and red. The rest of the car is still matt-orange. She's gone home now, and it'll be 3 weeks till she comes to visit again, so it'll be in this amusing state for ages. Still, you can have too much of a good thing.

This afternoon, I tidied my room. During this, I discovered a box full of random things that I hadn't unpacked from when I got back from uni in June 2002. This included old receipts, shampoo and deodorant. Memories.

Yes - it's an extender! Went into B&Q this afternoon to buy an absolute beast of an extender for the roller, before I paint the hall and landing. It's as long as the queue out of Gloucester in the evenings. Well, when it's fully extended and I stand up with my arm stretched upwards, I can now reach nearly 4.5 metres up the wall. Of course, not many walls are that tall, so I've got most of them covered. Watch your back, and of course, your face in case any paint drips on it. It was a good deal, in my opinion. It cost about £4, and is nice and sturdy, even when extended.

Went to my Gran's this evening to re-fit a net curtain for her, as the clips were all broken on the old one. It all went well, and it was all still hanging when I left. I had a blueberry muffin and a can of coke after I had done it. Looked through the Daily Mail. Then I looked through it again.

Spoke to Mark on the phone this evening, and we tried to fix my comments boxes, but we didn't come up with anything, despite Mark's efforts. Oh well, vive la france. I feel like I'm talking to myself here, with no comments boxes. I will try some more things tomorrow. It's been a long and sad weekend in blogland.
