Today has been a very good day. I woke up about 6 and couldn't get back to sleep, so it was easy to leave the house at 7.55am. My Dad dropped me off at Milton Keynes station about 9.30 and I read the Daily Mail for 40 minutes until Rosie chugged in in her Panda to pick me up (just realised that I left the paper and my jumper in the back of the car, woops) We went to the MK Centre, a huge airconditioned shopping centre which feels like a futuristic hospital, without the ambulances. Or the patients. Had a look in all the classic shops, such as NEXT, and a host of female only ones such as Monsoon and New Look. Felt peckish about 11 so we went to Burger King and I had a sausage and egg roll and an orange juice. It all cost just £1.88, I was mightily impressed. Even after I had eaten it.
