Today was a very busy day. Went into London with Rosie in the morning. We went to Portobello Road to look round the market. It was quite good. There was lots to see. It was well hot though, and there were millions of people hanging around. After a while we went to Pret a Manger for lunch. Then we walked through Kensington Gardens sort of to Knightsbridge 'tube' station. We met Rosie's mum, brother and auntie and tried to go to the London Eye but it was shut as it was so hot. We had ice creams on Rosie's aunitie Ali, as it were. After this, Rosie and I went to the Tate modern for a drink and then to St Pauls. He wasn't in. Then we came home which took for ever because the driver didn't bother to turn up, then some random train parked in our station. Then we had to get a bus because the train couldnt be bothered to stop at Enfield.

This evening we had dinner and watched a bit of TV. Rosie asked if I would hose her down, but she was not up for getting anything more than mildly damp, and still completely dry in places.
