Wow, a new way of doing things on the main blogger site. It looks a lot better, but I'll need to get used to it.

Today has been good. I spent most of it travelling here to Rosie's. It was cold on the train - the aircon was turned up very high. But the train was very comfortable, and I had a very nice 'breakfast roll'.

When I arrived, no one was in except Rosie's brother Will. He offered me a selection of soft drinks before we made our way into the lounge. He showed me an old car vacuum cleaner that his Dad is planning to fix one day. It was quite interesting. He also told me he'd just sold a BBC computer on ebay for something like £56.

When Rosie came in, we went into town to pick up some photos of hers. They were of the summer ball and general stuff she's done since then.

This evening we had dinner, which was a traditional pizza and chips, executed with a selection of salad goods. It was good. Made our way through to the lounge and watched bargain hunt. Went for a stroll round the block afterwards. All very civilised.

Well, I'm off to bed soon. Not sure what I'm doing tomorrow. Rosie is working. I've got some hoovering on the cards, and there are some ducks to pad out with brown bread, so no doubt I'll be busy. Roger...
