Bit of a beast of a day. Didn't get up till mid morning, as I was quite tired. Went up to campus to meet with Andrew, Laura, Rosie and Panny to help Andrew with his section of the translation. But he didn't arrive, so we just had pizza and talked about Laura's Sierra and how she keeps calling the AA out. Far more interesting. I had no idea Laura was mechanically minded.

After this I did some Russian in the library with Rosie, well, sitting next to her. After she went off to a lecture I headed home. I went to check on the cooling system. No drips. Good sign. But it had gone down about 500ml sinceI filled it up and warmed it up yesterday. But when I filled it up and ran it today it didn't really go down at all and very little steam came up. Hopefully, it'll be ok for a bit now.

Once this was done, I went to Thornton Hill (it's a residential road in Exeter) and posted leaflets about the carol service at the football ground tomorrow. It was all going well until I went into one front garden and a largish black dog came round the corner barking and started 'play' biting my trousers. Luckily someone called the dog off, and I was on my way. This evening Rosie came round and we went to Sainsbury's to test the car and because we both needed some stuff. The car seems ok. I'll check it again tomorrow. We're thinking of putting another pot of Radweld in it, just to be a bit surer.

Got a 9am lecture tomorrow, and lots planned. So I'm off to bed now. Ciao.
