Morning all. I got up really early today. 7.40 to be precise. This is because the truck delivering the stuff for the loft turned up. The guy said he'd aim for Wednesday morning when I ordered. Presumably this was so he didn't arrive in the middle of the night, rather than the afternoon as I had assumed. It was extremely frosty when I was outside. It was still mainly dark as well. I put the stuff in next doors garage, as there's no one living there yet again. Felt a bit strange going in there, especially as it was dark and one of the pains of glass was smashed (not by Jules Trudy)

I went back to bed once we'd unloaded it, and only got up an hour or so ago. I wanted to get quite a bit of sleep so that I don't have to leave too early tonight. It's not frosty anymore, but it is really sunny, which is a plus point.

I got a largish email from Laurent and Letizia yesterday, the people I stayed with in France. They moved almost as soon as I had moved out to a new appartment quite near the university. Certainly much nearer than where they lived when I was there. Appro po! All those 45 minute walks getting majorly cold/hot at 7am on a Friday morning. They said Rosie and I can visit at some point, which would be good.

Marcus Q Dobson BA no longer pending phoned last night. He was on a secret mission. Nothing dodgy though, but I think he'd a appreciate me not divulging the information he required from me. Suffice to say, Merry Christmas.

I feel a bit like Mr S Claus getting ready to drive to Rosie's. I have a huge box to deliver, an advent calendar to reunite with its owner, and a mission to bring back bits of aging British Leyland machinery for my sister. Harsh. I guess it's Austin strictly speaking, I think BL had gone bust by the time her Mini was made.

Have a good day then. Bye for now.
