Well Christmas is pretty much coming to a close now. Yesterday went pretty well, especially considering I didn't go out at all after about 12pm.
I read some of An Englishman in Paris which Rosie's family got me, whilst watching the tv with family. We watched James Bond, and several other things.
The Christmas meal at 6 was very good indeed. There were some luxury items which we don't normally have at all, such as sausages wrapped in bacon (very good) and some bread sauce (very edible) The turkey was nice and juicy, which is always a plus point. It's the sort of occasion you just sit there feeling glad to not be a veggie! Had a second helping. Even the traditional sprouts were quite good! My sister put rather a lot of brandy over the christmas pudding, so it sat burning away for about 2 minutes.
Rosie phoned at some point which was good. I'm going to hers tomorrow, which reminds me I must get a present for her family still. I have been very slow this year. I only wrapped the presents for my family at about 00:10 on Christmas day.
In the evening we watched My Family and Only Fools and Horses and the program with Alastair McGowan or whatever his name is imitating Posh and Becks.
