Hello there. It's been a busy last few days. Saturday evening I went with Rosie and my mum to Westonbirt Arboretum to go on a lit up walk around some trees, which was quite good. In the evening Rosie and I watched some tv, including Only Fools and Horses.

On Sunday morning we went to church, and the sunday school were performing a nativity play. It was a bit 'alternative' at times, and they even had a lactose intolerent horse. In the afternoon Rosie and I went to see Faith in Cheltenham. We drove to her house and then walked to Pittville Park because Faith wanted to show Rosie the animal enclosures. There are rabbits, peacocks, budgies and some rat like things. We went into Pittville Pump Room, where the spa waters are (well I think they still are, there is some trouble with pipes) There was a band (I expect thats a poor choice of word) rehearsing. I have a feeling one of the girls said it was a symphony orchestra. We walked up to the top floor and watched them over the gallery as it were. In the evening was the carol service at church, which included some modern songs too, which was a slight relief after the amount of times I've heard carols this year. My gran and Kathleen were there. My gran looked quite well. Rosie and I went to Bish and Emma's afterwards. I think their baby had even more hair that time.

Monday morning was a slightly early start to make a quick getaway to Birmingham. I had however promised I'd go round to my gran's to fix up her computer speakers. But my mum wanted me to put the Christmas tree up, and get the decorations out the loft, which took a little while, especially as my Dad has a new drill and it took ages to drill a hole to attach it to the holder. But we got going to Birmingham, and got to Ikea with very minimal bother. It wasn't even particularly busy inside, which was good. Once we'd had lunch and bought some presents we drove to the airport to pick my dad and sister up. That was simple enough, and the drive home was pretty easy too. We all had dinner together that evening, and my brother came too. Rosie and I went for a walk round Cheltenham to look at the lights and things later on. Waterstones was open, even though no other shops were. We went to the Frogmill for a drink on the way home, which brought back memories of when I worked there. It seems much less military-money-making now, and much more chilled out. They even have sofas! When we got back home we watched some of Test the Nation, and then Rosie went to bed, while I watched a bit of a film called Scrooged or something like that.
