Well hello there. Today I got up late and generally did stuff around the house. At about 2.30 I went with my mum and my sister to get a Christmas tree. It's in the garage at the moment, we're not putting it up for a little while.

After this I drove my sister to school (she needed the space afforded by a Cavalier rather than a Mini and she's a bit short to drive the Cavalier) We picked up her art work, which entailed going into yet another new block built at the school. It had electric windows. Coloured lights. Things have moved on. We were lucky to get a table with four straight legs when I was a nipper. I went into town after but the shops insist on shutting by 5.30 in this country so I didn't have much time. Gone are the days of Russian shops staying open till 9 or 10pm. It was good.

I'm in this evening. My mum is going carol singing somewhere. So no car. I could maybe do some work.

Must remember to take a huge box with me to Rosie's tomorrow for her brother Will. You could almost live in it.
