Got up late today, and met Rosie in town at 1. After looking round a bit, we drove to Pinhoe Sainsbury's to stock up on food. Even though I bought posh stuff my bill was cheaper than Rosie's by some five quid. The Panda randomly died halfway round a mini-roundabout on the way to my house, but it got going again.

Went to see Calendar Girls with Rosie, Gill and Nat at 20.50. The first half was good, but the last half an hour was shockingly bad. I wished I'd walked out and not seen the end! Well, not quite, but we could have done without Hollywood and all that bit. It was amusing to see all the actors/actresses speaking in Northern accents.
