Lots of travelling today. I came with Rosie and her Dad up to Derby to see her Gran, Auntie and cousins.
We had a big lunch at Rosie's Gran's which was very healthy. Lots of quiche, carrots, celery, beetroot, all very russian. She has two dogs. One is an old walking pongy deathwish and the other is a manic sheepskin rug on wheels. We took them for a hike up a mountain. The old one keeled over and had to be carried.
After the walk we drove to Rosie's Auntie Ruth's. As we arrived we went straight out to get the kids, Emma and Freya, from school, which was just down the road. The kids were very lively, as was the slobbery dog Milo. Emma and Freya showed us their jumping on the bed skills and a selection of toys.
Once that visit was done we started driving home. We stopped in Derby for chips and something to go with the chips. I had a nice pasty. Rosie had salt and vinegar. I've been doing lots of travelling recently, it's good. Not long till Exeter now.
