Today was a much slower day. Rosie did lots of packing in the morning, stuff like clothes.
After lunch we went to a park which I think was called Trent Park. Rosie wanted to look round the animal bit, so we looked at some pigs and birds. They were up for adoption. We had a drink and a cake in a cafe, which wasn't too good, but it was ok, because I wasn't really concentrating on the food. We were talking about Exeter, which was quite exciting.
In the evening we went to a talk at Rosie's church , by John Blanchard (he travels the world doing his talk entitled Does God Believe in Atheists?) He spoke at the CU in Exeter in my first year, and it was good enough to go again. It was basically about reasons for considering the existence for God. It was very encouraging. I bought the video! Gavin is borrowing it now. I noticed that there were two Exeter Uni students sitting at the back, which was very unexpected. One of them was a girl from Cheltenham called Gill, and the other was an old fellow hall rep Esther.
Rosie did more packing when we got back. She had lots of random stuff, like packets of ready made pasta meals.
